Groundwork Lynn Feasibility Study Steering Committee - Call for Members
Lynn residents and individuals representing nonprofit organizations in the area are invited to use this form to nominate themselves, or someone else, by completing this statement of interest in joining the Steering Committee for the Groundwork Lynn Feasibility Study.
The Feasibility Study involves a collaborative, 6-8 month process for community members to explore the establishment of a potential new community-based organization dedicated to environmental improvement, green jobs, workforce development, and open space development and stewardship in Lynn.
Steering Committee members will work alongside residents, local organizations, government and business leaders to build on community priorities that have already been identified for the City of Lynn, and to lay the groundwork for a future organization that reflects Lynn's needs, values, and vision.
Your participation matters. This process is designed to be community-driven from the start, and your voice — whether as a resident who knows this city firsthand, or as an organization already doing the work — is essential to getting it right.
COMPENSATION: Upon conclusion of the Feasibility Study process, nonprofit participants and resident participants who attend 90% or more of our Steering Committee meetings will receive a stipend of up to $4,000 in recognition of the meaningful commitment this work requires. (Stipends are taxable per federal and state law. Please consult a tax professional for guidance specific to your situation.)
