2/6 Snow Advisory
A parking ban will go into effect on Friday, February 6th at 10:00PM. Residents must remove their vehicles from the streets to allow for pre-treatment and street widening operations (i.e., plowing) that will begin at 11:00PM tonight. Cars parked on the street will be subject to ticketing and towing.
Snow parking lots will be open to residents starting at 8:00PM on Friday, February 6th.
The Lynn Public Library will be closed on Saturday, February 7th. Additionally, all scheduled school activities for Saturday have been canceled.
Towed cars will be located at 389 Blossom Street (Lynn Ferry Terminal Site).
There is a cold weather advisory for Essex County through February 8th.

The Parking Department is responsible for the collection of fines relative to citations for Parking Tickets, Abandoned Vehicles, 40U, Noise, Litter, Smoking, Fire Department and Animal Control citations. The Department is authorized to initiate appropriate collection actions for violations not paid when due, including non-renewal of driver's license and registration, criminal complaint and tax liens. Other responsibilities include issuance of resident parking permits and management of the City's public parking lots.
