SEAPORT MARINA

The City of Lynn will receive bids for the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel to the Seaport Marina located at 154 Lynnway, Lynn, MA 01902.

Specifications may be obtained starting, Monday, March 31, 2025 at the City of Lynn Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Specifications are available by email upon request at purchasing@lynnma.gov. Specifications are available until the due date specified below.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Bid# 03-610 Gasoline and Diesel Fuel, Seaport Marina. All bids must be submitted to the purchasing department at the address above no later than 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and will be publicly opened, forthwith. Emailed bids will not be accepted.

The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City.

The City of Lynn will receive bids for Cemetery Grass Cutting Services at Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston Street, Lynn, MA. Services include all labor, material and equipment for seasonal grass cutting at all cemetery locations in accordance with the specifications

CITY OF LYNN
INVITATION TO BIDDERS

The City of Lynn is soliciting bids for the following:

195 MARKET STREET INTERIOR RENOVATION – PHASE 1
195 MARKET ST.
LYNN, MA 01901

The scope of work includes but is not limited to, the interior renovation and conversion of the 3rd floor of an existing building to accommodate the needs of Lynn Public Schools. The project includes selective demolition, MEPF system upgrades, interior finishes including the construction of new partition walls, painting, resilient flooring, and acoustic ceiling tiles.

The estimated cost of the work is $4,000,000.

The project is expected to commence on or about April 21, 2025 and be completed no later than August 31, 2025. Time is of the essence for the completion of this project.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive.

General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.
Filed Sub-Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the trades listed below and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Sub-bidder’s Update Statement.

Filed Sub-Bids for this project will be accepted from eligible bidders until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 and will be publicly opened, forthwith online.

General Bids for this project will be accepted from eligible bidders until 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 3, 2025 and will be publicly opened, forthwith online.

Each general bid and filed sub-bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, or cash, or a certified check on, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the City of Lynn in the amount of five percent (5%) of value of the bid. Bid deposits will be dealt with as provided in Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 44B.

Bids shall be made on the basis of the Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, Pursuant to the Provisions of Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D inclusive of Massachusetts General Laws, a copy of which is attached to and is made a part of the Contract.

Bidders’ selection procedures and contract award shall be in conformity with applicable statues of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Performance and Labor and Materials payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price will be required from the successful bidder.

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all general bids, if it be in the public interest to do so, and to reject any sub-bid on any sub-trade if it determines that such sub-bid does not represent the sub-bid of a person competent to perform the work as specified or that less than three such sub-bids were received and that the prices are not reasonable for acceptance without further competition.
