National Wellness Month

August was National Wellness Month! As school goes back in session and cooler weather fast approaching, this theme serves as a reminder to practice self-care and create healthy routines.
The Dimensions of Wellness include:
- Spiritual
- Practice meditation, go out into nature, and practice acts of self-love
- Emotional
- Recharge your battery, find healthy ways to process your emotions, and remind yourself why you do what you do
- Ecological
- Create a healthy balance between your personal well-being and the physical spaces, including: where you live, work, and spend your time
- Financial
- Track your spending, manage your debt, and when you possible, create an emergency fund
- Intellectual
- Read when you can, try to learn new skills, and challenge your mind whenever possible
- Occupational
- Create a work life balance, reduce burnout whenever possible, set boundaries, and schedule time to take breaks
- Physical
- Work on staying active, getting the proper amount of sleep, and building healthy eating habits
- Social
- Spend time with family and friends, get involved with your community, and make time for hobbies you enjoy
