August was National Wellness Month! As school goes back in session and cooler weather fast approaching, this theme serves as a reminder to practice self-care and create healthy routines.

The Dimensions of Wellness include:

  • Emotional
    • Recharge your battery, find healthy ways to process your emotions, and remind yourself why you do what  you do
  • Ecological
    •   Create a healthy balance between your personal well-being and the physical spaces, including: where you live, work, and spend your time
  • Financial
    • Track your spending, manage your debt, and when you possible, create an emergency fund
  • Intellectual
    • Read when you can, try to learn new skills, and challenge your mind whenever possible
  • Occupational
    • Create a work life balance, reduce burnout whenever possible, set boundaries, and schedule time to take breaks
  • Physical
