FIRE VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
AND REPAIR SERVICE

The City of Lynn will receive bids for the Lynn Fire Department Vehicles PM and Repair Services as outlined in bid specifications. Service will be on an as needed basis. Vehicles will include engines, ladders, rescues and other vehicles with makes, not limited to Seagrave, Pierce, Emergency One, International, Ford and Chevrolet.

Specifications may be obtained starting, Monday, January 6, 2025 at the City of Lynn Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Specifications are available by email or will be mailed upon request at [email protected] or by calling 781-586-6893. Due to the magnitude of the initial work needed on the current fleet there is a mandatory viewing scheduled for 9:00AM, Monday, January 13, 2025 at the Broadway Fire Station, 424 Broadway, Lynn, MA. 01902. All interested parties must attend in order to bid.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Bid# 03-599 FIRE VEHICLE PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICE. All bids must be submitted no later than 11:00am on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 to the purchasing department at the address above and will be publicly opened, forthwith. Emailed bids will not be accepted.

The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City. The City of Lynn Purchasing Agent will prepare the notice of award and awarding of this contract.

The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed alarm systems and service companies to provide continuous alarm monitoring of all city and school buildings and installation/repair service on an as needed basis as outlined in specifications. Contract term is for a three-year term.

The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed asbestos abatement companies to provide asbestos abatement and related services on an as needed basis. Services include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment.

Specifications may be obtained starting, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Lynn City Hall, Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: “Bid #03-596 – Asbestos Abatement Services”. All bids must be submitted in form to the purchasing department at the above address no later than Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11:00AM. Bids will be publicly opened and read forthwith.
