CITY OF LYNN
The City of Lynn is accepting proposals for lease of:
PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE
FOR THE LARRY W. GANNON MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
AND ASSOCIATED BANQUET/RESTAURANT FACILITIES
60 GREAT WOODS ROAD, LYNN, MA. 01904
The lease would commence on January 1, 2026 and expire on December 31, 2030. There will be a one-year mutual extension option.
Requests for Proposals, with Qualifications, may be obtained starting Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 8:30 A.M. at Lynn City Hall, Purchasing Department, Room 205, 3 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901.
Proposals must be submitted in accordance to the specifications to the Purchasing Department, Room 205, Lynn, City Hall, Lynn, MA prior to 12:00 P.M., Thursday, May 29, 2025.
A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Gannon Municipal Golf Course, 60 Great Woods Road, Lynn, MA. Meet at the entrance. This conference will include a tour of the facilities.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a BID DEPOSIT IN THE AMOUNT OF TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE BASE BID FOR THE FIRST LEASE YEAR in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Lynn and will become the property of the City of Lynn on the failure of the successful bidder to sign a contract within fourteen (14) days after notification of acceptance of the proposal or by other default.
A PERFORMANCE BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($250,000.00) IS REQUIRED OF THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER. All bonds submitted to the City of Lynn must be issued by an Insurance Company licensed to issue bonds in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. All bonds must be satisfactory in form to the City Solicitor.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals as may appear in the best interest of the City of Lynn.
The Award of this contract is by the Mayor and the Purchasing Agent of the City of Lynn and will be awarded within thirty (30) days after the Proposal opening.
